# Ping test from the Calix 844G

**Step 1**  
Log into the router

**Step 2**  
Click on **Utilities**

**Step 3**  
Click on **Ping Test**

**Step 4**  
Enter the **URL or IP address**

**Step 5**  
Click on **Test** to begin
