# Load factory default configuration on the Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite

**Step 1**  
Power off the EdgeRouter by unplugging the power

**Step 2**  
Hold down the reset button using a pin and then connect the power

**Step 3**  
Release the reset button when the Eth2 LED stops flashing and becomes solid
