# Setup a static route on the Calix 844G

**Step 1**  
Log into the router.

**Step 2**  
Click **Advanced**

**Step 3**  
Click on **Static Routing**

**Step 4**  
Enter the static route information.

**Step 5**  
Click **Apply** to save your changes.
