# Change the administrator username and password on the Calix 844G

**Step 1**  
Log into the router.

**Step 2**  
Click on **Advanced.**

**Step 3**  
Click on **Security.**

**Step 4**  
Click on **Administrator Credentials.**

**Step 5**  
Change the username and password.

**Step 6**  
Click **Apply** to save your changes.
